This is quite a long but easy walk with hardly any climbs or descents; it is on a variety of road-side pavements and off-road footpaths, and then nearly a mile along Sutton Lane. It is not suitable for bicycles.

The route does involve crossing the High Street in Sutton Benger once, and also involves crossing the main road at the Avon bridge in Christian Malford, with a very short stretch on the road where there is no roadside pavement.
